CV’S OLD TRADITION, THE “ZOMBIE”
“The Zombie!” What makes this breaded muffin filled with melted cheese into Clayton Valley’s favorite brunch time snack? Second period ends and the majority of the school races off to the brunch carts for their zombie before they are gone. Pam Hargis, a senior, tells us “I love them because they fill me up and give me energy the rest of the day”. Shelly Scott, a senior, says, “I love the melted cheese in side”. After taking a survey 90% of the students buy a zombie every Monday, Wednesday and Friday when they are sold. Brooks Shepard, says “the zombie has been here for ever since I was a freshman, and also here the years my older brothers and sisters were here”.
